Microblading, also known as Eyebrow Embroidery is a procedure categorized under permanent makeup, but unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, it is less invasive and is considered semi-permanent. The procedure is done by using a hand held disposable sterile blade with ultra- fine needles and a technique where fine lines are etched into the surface of the skin with pigment to provide the finest definition and dimension possible creating an incredibly natural and realistic crisp hair stroke. The procedure can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrow and is excellent for those who have the wrong brow shape, thinning brows from age or over tweezed and those wanting to enhance their brows. The strokes accurately replicate the hair which gives a natural look. Results can last from six months to over two years, depending on a variety of factors such as color of pigment, skin type, and lifestyle. The procedure is a two-step process and the perfecting session is necessary to set the color and shape.
